Night-time and it’s silent under the vast, star-strewn African sky, save for a mighty roar rumbling across the plain. That is me – the king of the beasts. No introductions necessary, you will have read about me. I’m the hero of many a myth and legend.

I’m famous for my strength and leadership but did you know that I am playful, cooperative and loyal, too? Look up into the night sky and you’ll see me there, immortalised in the stars as your guide. Rely on me, my friend, and I will give you courage.
